We are excited to introduce an authentic sushi-making class to our inbound group lesson offerings. Designed for groups of 10 or more, this hands-on experience is ideal for corporate team-building programs, incentive trips, and private group events looking to explore Japanese culture through food.

Led by a professional sushi master, this workshop goes far beyond a typical cooking class—offering insight into the techniques, philosophy, and craftsmanship behind traditional sushi.

Why This Experience Is Perfect for Groups

Fully Customizable to Your Team’s Needs

Whether you have dietary preferences like vegetarian options, or want to add a competitive twist with a sushi-making challenge, we tailor every aspect of the workshop to fit your group. Tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll design an experience that works for you.

Seamless Communication in Japanese or English

Our bilingual staff ensure that both Japanese and English-speaking guests enjoy the full depth of the experience. Every technique, cultural insight, and detail is communicated clearly and accurately, so everyone leaves with the same rich understanding.

Witness Techniques Usually Hidden from View

Led by a professional sushi master, your team will see the intricate skills that typically remain behind the counter at high-end restaurants. It’s an engaging cultural experience that brings your group together through shared discovery and hands-on learning—ideal for team building with a meaningful Japanese twist.

  1. Introduction to the history of sushi

  2. Sushi quiz (with prizes!)

  3. Live sushi-making demonstration by the sushi master

  4. Hands-on sushi-making experience

  5. Time for photos and enjoying your handmade sushi

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

A Deeper Look into the Art and Philosophy of Sushi

Join a private workshop led by a sushi master with experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Through live demonstrations of professional knife work and nigiri preparation, you’ll learn how cutting techniques, ingredient balance, and seasonality influence each piece of sushi.

Rather than simply teaching recipes, the master shares a deeper philosophy—how to step back and allow ingredients to express their true character. From sourcing and preparation methods that change with the seasons, to precise cuts tailored to each type of fish, participants gain insight into the mindset that elevates sushi from a meal to a form of Japanese aesthetic expression.

With a private setting and bilingual support, every detail is shared in a personal and approachable way. This is more than a cooking class—it’s an opportunity to connect with Japanese culture through craftsmanship, sustainability, and respect for ingredients.
